The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the significant variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance place produced for intervention ordeals a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the office sassa status to attend to all people who pay a visit to a status sassa service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all shoppers and increase sassa entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
